Sarah Sassone is a writer, teacher, mental health advocate, and die-hard New York Rangers fan. She received a BA from Rider University in 2012 and an MFA from Emerson College in 2015, and is currently a Doctoral student at Binghamton University. She hopes to some day work on a big cat conservation and become strong enough to pry lids off jars of salsa.
